Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County

Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County (CCALAC) and its members share a common mission of supporting and expanding access to quality, comprehensive health care for every individual. CCALAC’s vision is to advance the health and human services of communities throughout Los Angeles county, creating a comprehensive health care system for underserved populations to help reduce health disparities in the county. CCALAC represents non-profit community and free clinics that operate primary care sites throughout the county. The association strives to identify and address the collective needs of its members at the local, state and federal level.

Health Care Los Angeles, IPA

Health Care LA (HCLA) is an Independent Practice Association that has physician networks across the city of Los Angeles and the communities of Long Beach, Pomona, San Fernando, San Gabriel Valley, Tarzana, and West Covina. As an IPA, HCLA contracts with various Healthcare Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) to provide a variety of services.

L.A. Care Health Plan

L.A. Care Health Plan is the nation's largest publicly operated health plan and has a long history of supporting the safety net and the community through innovative initiatives. L.A. Care’s mission is to provide access to quality health care for Los Angeles County's vulnerable and low income communities and residents and to support the safety net required to achieve that purpose.

Los Angeles County Department of Health Services

The mission of Los Angeles County Department of Health Services (DHS) is to ensure access to high-quality, patient-centered, cost-effective health care to Los Angeles County residents through direct services at DHS facilities and through collaboration with community and university partners. DHS provides acute and rehabilitative patient care, trains physicians and other health care clinicians, and conducts patient care-related research. Each year, DHS serves more than 700,000 patients through their four hospitals and network of clinics.
